Life is GREAT

My mom bought this adorable outfit for Finn. I LOVE the colors and the little message across the bum. :) It makes me smile every time I see his 'life is good' scootin' across the room. Life is more than good...we are so fortunate and abundantly blessed.

The front of his shirt says 'Peanut'. How appropriate!

Am I the only mother who thinks the back of their babies head is adorable? I love the way his hair swirls and flips. I think I just love every part of him. : )

He is so happy!

When I look down at my toes (which I'm not overly fond of feet in general) it is now such a treat! Before I just saw my stinky toes, but now I get to look at this sweet face!

Lillies

When we bought our house I had no idea these lilies were planted. It was January and come summer, to my delight, these gorgeous flowers appeared. My husband has a landscaping company, but my green thumb is more brown...or shall I say non-existant. Every once in awhile I can maintain a house plant. After these bloomed we had Star-Gazer lillies come up. Those are my absolute favorites. I love the way they look and their amazing aroma. Its almost as if they were planted at this house just for me. :) I look forward to them blooming every year.

Snaggletooth

Finn currently has 3 teeth. He got the two bottom, center, teeth at 5 1/2 months. He has recently shown one more. But it's not a top, center tooth. No...it's his snaggletooth. He looks funny with this one little tooth off to the side when he smiles. :) How can you resist this sweet face?

We go on stroller rides every night after dinner. It's become a ritual with us and something I will miss this winter. He loves to put his fishing hat on, grab the front tray and eagerly look around to see who's out in the neighborhood, what birds are flying by and what other sights/smells he may run into. Sometimes he gets a little tired (its a full mile around our block) and I sing to him on the way home to keep him entertained. I'm sure it's more than the neighbors asked for (I don't have the best voice!) but Finn enjoys it. I love our time together and our evening cruises.

I love you sweet stuff!

Cousins

Kaden was over for his six month photo shoot. While the boys were together, I decided to take a couple quick shots of them. Finn was after Kaden like you wouldn't believe! Kaden was a great sport! These two were a hoot...and I can only imagine what fun it will be this winter when they're both mobile!

Pretzel sticks

Finn is starting to experiment with solid foods. My mom gave him a big pretzel stick one day and he loved it! He can easily hold it and get it in his mouth. Every once in awhile he bites off a little piece. Sometimes a big piece! It's defniitely a closely monitored activity at this point! But it's cute to see how proud he is of himself.

Get set...

I was working on the computer this morning and looked out in the living room only to find Finn pulling himself up on things! It's the first time he's tried to go vertical. The first step to him going mobile. Here is a little video to share. He isn't pulling himself up, but it's still fun to watch!
