Finn went for his first tractor ride with Grandpa Larry today. We came down for lunch and then took a stroll through the woods. Finn was VERY sleepy, but enjoyed the ride none the same. He's a trooper! Grandpa, of course, was loving every minute.
Going through the trails. I grew up on this land, playing in these woods. So fun to see Finn now enjoying it!

Finn loved to play with the knob on the steering wheel. Funny thing is, I remember how I loved to play with that as a kid too. Some things never change!

The Farmall (sp?). I don't think this tractor will EVER retire.
Grandpa has over 10 beautiful acres of land. It's filled with a sledding hill, wooded trails, a running creek, bridges, rope swings the go out over the creek, fire pit, barn and storage shed (where they periodically hold talent shows). The flowers/trees are also amazing. Fall is one of my favorite times and my dad's property is one of the best showcases. The woods glow with every color you can imagine. I'll have to take some pics this fall to share.

The home of the famous talent shows...
Dad also grows a good garden. Well, I should say Dad & Joyce because I know Joyce is out there working in it too! I love to get fresh zucchini, tomatoes. They always have fresh treats! We had fresh basil on our tomato/cheese sandwiches today. Yum!
Dad & Joyce, thank you for the fun afternoon! We'll see you again soon!
