Anniversary....

October 5th, 2006
The Location...Landmark Vineyard, Kenwood California
Music was playedVows were takenPoems and scriptures were read. Promises were made.
With family in hand. Our new life began...
A kiss was given. Celebration is still going on....

After the ceremony, we had some pictures taken while our guests enjoyed wine, cheese & crackers and fresh figs in here. The vineyard events woman had it decorated beautifully with flowers, candles and the figs were from her own trees in her yard!
I asked my brothers to take a few pictures...this is what I found on my camera the next day.
When the celebration ended at the vineyard, we drove down to a quaint little restaurant in Glen Ellen for an amazing meal. Here you can see the special desserts they made for us! We ate it throughout our entire honeymoon!
The next morning all of us gathered one last time to tour Sterling Vineyards together, privately. Looking through these photos reminds me of how fantastic it was. Having Finn was definitely one of the most amazing days of my life...but I think my wedding day will always rank first. It was everything I hoped and dreamed of...and more.

For our second anniversary we took a weekend get-a-way to NY to relax and unwind. We toured a few favorite vineyards, took a much needed nap, had a great dinner and visited Peek'n' Peak for their art show on Sunday. They had this crazy contraption that launched pumpkins up onto the slopes. It was really something to see. The best part...check at the guy on top, loading the pumpkin. He had to be my dad's age if not better. I was impressed!
If you look (really, really closely) you can see the pumpkin flying through the air by the 'arrow'. Here is the aftermath...they had targets.
There were some amazing animals there too...which made me miss Finn.
Check out this duck's hairdo.
These eyes are amazing...

We drove to the top and the colors were beautiful!

I am so abundantly blessed...and married life has truly been enjoyable, fullfilling and made my life so much richer than I ever imagined. I love my husband, I love our family...and I'm excited for the years to come! I pray they are as wonderful as the last two. :)
