I love the new eco green color...for clothes, for bags, for gloves, for scarves...and it's wonderful that most of the earth (as I know it) is covered in this beautiful green right now.
This time of year I like to look back at the winter photos are sit in amazement of what God has created. Just six short months ago our flower planter looked like this...

And it now looks like this...

So please journey with me through some photos of before and after...

Our front yard before summer...and after...

This is our neighbors...she does an AMAZING job with the landscaping. I hire my help. ; )

Our back deck...

This is where mommy goes when I need a break and Finn wants outside. These chairs are the best...love, love, love World Market.

My sad attempt of a herb garden. Unlike my lanscaper husband, I don't handle plants well. So I'm really excited about these...and have enjoyed them in our meals. Yum!

This is my favorite planter...love these colors.

Here's the fireplace, not buried in snow. We love this thing and use it all the time for s'mores.

The bugs in OH are this size...at least the mosquitoes. These are the only ones I like.

I had to throw in this pic of the back of our house because Finn was having a full conversation with the Three Stooges (I'll explain in a minute) and I didn't realize at the time that I caught it on film. Hilarious! He's even pointing at them...telling them to 'straighten up!' : )
So the Stooges were a find (he actually PAID for them) by my husband. It was a joke at first when we had them in the front yard at Halloween. Then our neighbors 'kidnapped' them and put them in their backyard by their pond....looked like they were fishing. So since they liked them so much, my redneck husband wanted to leave them out all year...this was the compromise.

The kids play gym in February...

I wanted a garden this year...but the time slipped by. So I decided to grow something in pots just so Finn & Hudson could see where fruits/veggies come from and eat something straight off the plant. I got a green pepper and strawberries. The peppers were in sad need of a drink (which I did after I took photos...told you I kill everything).

Finn helping me water the plants.

Two of my favorite things that I inherited from Shane's 'past life' (what I call his previous marriage) is the dog...North Polen. : ) And this cool metal cat who still dwells in our gardens. :)
